Who am I?

I put the pieces together needed to bring great software to your desktop! I have a great love for KDE and my work reflects that, but I am not limited to it! I take great pride in the work that I do, which you can find my profiles here: Open Source Work

Why support a packager? While other developers make really cool stuff, someone has to get that pile of code to the users! That pile of code usually also depends on other piles of code! We as packagers must package and connect all the piles of code into something that is useful to end users. We also bundle useful products together with sane default settings to bring awesome Distributions such as Kubuntu or KDE Neon for users to enjoy. In the life cycle of packaging applications we often encounter and help fix t many bugs! I have also helped with packaging tools such as snapcraft which makes life easier for other snap packagers.

I have been around in the opensource eco-system for over 20 years! I started with Linux when Red Hat Linux came on a large stack of floppy disks! My adventure began in the Network Administrator arena and transitioned into software after I finished University with a degree in Computer Science. While I can code to some degree, my journey has given me more experience in “putting it all together”. During this journey I have also developed several Continuous Integration systems and automated deployment.

On the side, I also dabble in web development. ( To be listed at a later time )

It has been difficult for me to procure work in the niche of work I have boxed myself into, despite the importance of it! I depend on sponsors like you to survive. If you have any need for my skill set listed above please consider sponsoring me monthly or one-time per job basis. If you enjoy my current work and use any of the products on my Open Source Work page and want to donate, I have several methods:

If you have specific wants/needs that you want to sponsor please contact me!
